Hi again

Hello peeps,

It has been a while isn't it? A long time after that sad post. I still miss Marc from time to time and I still wondered why he had gone sooner than he was supposed to. But I'm sure he won't be happy if he finds out out that I'm still stuck in the reality that would never happen. And that is for him to return here on Earth and be with us again. I know deep in my heart that he is really happy up there. So I know I should've let it go already. (;-;)

Anyway,

Yes, I finally grasp the reality and finally able to let it go. So here I am continuing my journey here on Earth and be the best that God has sent me to be. =)

I have been busy these few months. Work has been really fun and educational. I am really happy here in WWF. I've learnt a lot of things in the span of these couple of months. Although it is tough from time to time but I welcome the challenge. It was the greatest feeling ever when you accomplished something beyond your own expectations. It is flattering and a confidence boost. I hope I will be able to stay positive for years to come. And I do hope I do my family proud. I am excited and nervous at the same time. The pressure and expectations are a bit high here and I'm scared that I might fall flat on my face. Haha Maybe I shouldn't worry too much, eh?

A Sad Truth

A sad truth and a harsh reality. Life is just so fragile and frail. Sometimes you just wish you can hide it somewhere safe and protect it with all your might but alas it's futile. I have lost a friend in the Kudat MASwing crash. A good friend, a great friend. I might've known him for just a short while but I know deep in my heart he is such an amazing person. I wish I had spent more time getting to know you. I'm really sad that you had to leave so early in your life. And you left during the prime time of your life too. But God is all knowing. He must have something in store for you up there. I'll surely miss you and someday we might meet again, hopefully up there.

What's going on in Nifty's boring life nowadays?

Well, if you're wondering what's going on with me... well you're in luck coz I'm in the mood to tell lol

Honestly saying, I've been job hunting and I finally landed a great job. I'm working as a DPA for a Policy Analyst in WWF Sabah, Malaysia. I know, I know my last update about my work was I was working as a computer teacher at St. James Primary at Likas. Well that job is over and done with and mind you, I will never return there and work for Dynabook EVER AGAIN. I have no problems with the children or speaking in mandarin to teach but seriously... the company works you to the bone and pays you less than what you're worth. And believe me peeps, you don't wanna work with that company. Their management team is horrible. The boss is HORRIBLE!

But anyway, enough about them. They're not important.

So now I'm working at WWF Sabah, man, was I excited when I heard I got the job. But the pressure is high now because my boss has a high expectation and a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to work. It doesn't really bother me though. I'm all about trying my very best in everything I do. I promised myself that I'm willing to work hard like I've never been before. Wish me luck guys! Fingers crossed!

On to other stuff, well my gaming life is seriously reduced nowadays but I still have a gaming life. I'm still playing RO2 which is my latest addiction. God, help me now lol. Update guys! RO2 is going to open its level cap. I dunno exactly how many but I hope its until lv100! Weeee! Come join me in the game! Search for me... my IGN is NiftyAeon. Lets be friends and level together =D

Today I'd like to share with you guys an eye opener, a beautifully crafted documentary about host clubs in Japan. What's a host club you say? Well, a host club is mainly where hosts entertain their clienteles, mostly women, in the club atmosphere. Girls came to host clubs to dream and fall in love... at a cost.

For anime/manga lovers, remember these guys?

Ouran High School Host Club, a cute and romantic anime revolving around a tomboyish girl with a band of playful hosts. I personally like the anime and had always envisioned that most host clubs to be the same. A place where girls can play and fall in love with the boys she chose as her host. It was a wonderful gesture and adventure.

But today I'm not gonna talk about Ouran... Today I wanna talk about...

I'm really bad at explaining things but I'll try.

Here is this documentary revolving around a host called Issei of Rakkyo Cafe. And my, my did I get shocked by what really is behind the scene of a host club.

After watching the video, I felt dazed and shocked. I couldn't believe what I just watched. I could hear the mirror to my dream was shattered. I could never look at host clubs the same way ever again. It is really an eye opener. After all that, I then got myself together. I felt sorry for both the hosts and their clients. Its a really a cruel world and a brutal cycle. It makes me feel my life was far better off than theirs. My heart clenched when one of the hosts mentioned that he could never trust anyone else and could never fall in love, in any circumstances because of his work.

Man, it makes me want to re-evaluate my life. Enough about me.

I suggest you guys watch the video and see what it is all about. There's no point in me telling you anything because it'll just spoil most of what the documentary has to offer. haha

Thanks for reading! Anyway, sometimes I wish I could give you guys information and knowledge through my blog but apparently I am writing total crap most of the time haha.

Yeah yeah I know I keep saying crap which is not really a good thing. I guess I need to stop bashing myself.

About tonight, well, I never knew there was a party here. It's so damn noisy and its giving me headaches.

My brother and his friends came for... a late Kaamatan Celebration. That could only mean... drinking till you drop face down on the floor. God, please... PLEASE don't let them puke on the floor because I am not cleaning it up. Ughhhhhh

Well, I better continue leveling my character in RO2! and pray that these kids don't puke anywhere.

Dear Asgardians

Hello fellow bloggers/readers, thanks for reading my crap every now and then. I really hope you enjoyed most of your time reading it. I promise to update my blog as often as I could so here I am, updating.

Today I'm gonna talk about Ragnarok Online 2.

Ragnarok Online 2, where do I begin?

It is an extended version of Ragnarok Online, the first MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) in Malaysia.

The old map is reimbursed. A more cinematic and 3D-ish world was born. I was all nostalgic when I saw monsters I knew back in RO1 like Poring, Poporing... and the places on the map that I actually visited years ago such as Prontera City... Alberta... ah the good old days.

I've been playing RO2 for about 2 weeks now. I'm aiming to reach level 50 this week.  Hopefully I'll be able to. Fingers crossed!

New things in RO2 were the quests system and I thought that was awesome because I was really interested in playing games with quests and goals. I honestly don't like grinding. It gives me headache. lol. But the quests gave you great incentive to actually move forward. The story line to me were great too. I really like the characters/NPCs (Non-Playable Characters) portrayed in the game. My fav is Eremes Guile, an Assassin Cross from the Darkness Shadow Guild. He's cool and collected. He's just awesome =P

To RO fans out there, give this game a chance. It maybe lag and it may cause you frustrations at times but it is nice to get a glance of the world you once knew and feel the nostalgia like I did when I started playing RO2 =P

Creative Writing Class

As of last Sunday, my Creative Writing class came to and end. I was kinda sad for a moment because I really loved the class. The course of 3 months had given me a chance to write more than I had written in my entire life. It was a great feeling. My muse is finally awake and the zeal to write again is there. I guess I needed the kick start.

The class wasn't the end. We actually started a writing club and decided to meet up with each other again in the near future. I am very excited and I am inspired to become a writer once more. I wish that someday I am able to actually finish a book and hope that it'll be published.

Cheers to local writers! And may the force be with them! haha

well that's all I want to say. I know, just another load of crap but I'm happy that you guys decided to read it anyway =P

My new layout

Ahhhhh, a breath of fresh air. Uhh, I mean new layout. Haha! I've been using the previous layout for a long, long time. So I thought... "Hmm, time to change!"

Unlike the Malaysian government, changing the layout is a piece of cake. No pun intended lol

Anyway, I thought the previous layout was getting old and I was also tired at looking at it. And voila! A new and dynamic view of my new layout!

I actually like it! haha

Well, since this is nonsense anyway I'm gonna end this here. In my next post, I'm gonna talk about voltage and their games. Look forward for that peeps! Thanks for reading this crap. =P

As you all know, Malaysia's 13th General Election finally commenced on the 5th of May 2013. That was yesterday, whether or not there is a holiday today, Monday, I don't know really.
Here is the official result of te election...
Barisan National won 112 seats.
Pakatan Rakyat won 58 seats.
Others won 0 seats.
All according to Malaysiakini Website. Last I saw it actually, which was a few hours ago.
There were rumours circulating in the social medias that Barisan National (BN) used cheats and lies to win the votes. Such as using a black out to sneak in a few ballot boxes or phantom voters or what ever. Geez, can't they just lose gracefully. Come on, don't reduce yourselves to such tactics! Have some pride will ya? I feel embarrassed for some reason. Ugh.
Anyhow... I am actually sad.
I solely believe in our people, I am a Kadazan Dusun Murut (KDM), I really wanted Tan Sri Bernard Dompok to win in Penampang this year for the parliament seat. I believe in him, he is our voice up there and our PM actually respects and listens to him. As I finally found out that once again, Bernard Dompok fell from grace. Ugh, my heart is broken. I just pray and hope that Mr. Darrell Leiking could bring us miracles here and be a louder voice up there with the big guns.
If he doesn't, see you in 5 years then lol
Meh. That's just my opinion.

I'm 25 now

Happy birthdaaaaay to myself! But that was yesterday haha

I was really happy coz Ironman 3 premiered here yesterday. I even took a picture of it coz I'm so proud it shows 26th April on the bunting lol I kept poking fun at Jr. that I am Ironman because the premier fell on the same date as my birthday. haha

See 26th April. Wee hee! XP

Yesterday was a blast. It was really simple, my celebration that is, but it was still the best day ever. I spent my day with Jr. We had lunch and a nice walk around the mall.

At dinner, my mom, brother, his girlfriend, Jr. and me went to Sailor's at Millenium Plaza. The dinner was nice and everything was perfect.

Jr.'s Meal. Its chicken with secret sauce. lol I don't actually remember what's the dish called =P

My meal, I can't remember its name as well. It was a hard to pronounce name lol  but it was really nice.

Mom's Meal. A salmon platter. It was nicely grilled. mmm yuumm¬

I did not manage to take any pictures of my brother's and his gf's food... coz they were already munching it away lol. They ordered the same dish. Sailor's Fish and Chips¬ I really liked the garlic infused mayo, yummy!

After the nice dinner, I headed to my last celebration of the day, the cinema. Me, my brother, his girlfriend, Jr., Tasia, Kelvin and Edgar had arranged for an 11:40pm show of The Ironman 3 at Megalong Cineplex. Booked earlier in the day. I was really surprised to see Megalong Cineplex is quite full for the Ironman 3 premier lol. There's a lot of Ironman fans here in Penampang I guess =P

Well, we had a yumcha session before the show and it was really nice to catch up with them. Tasia especially, I haven't seen her since forever!

And then, Ironman. It is a great movie in my opinion, some may feel disappointed with Master Mandarin... but I could accept the movie's concept. I think it was brilliant actually. To the ironman fans out there, go out to the nearest cinema, get your tickets and watch! Its a great movie, I've enjoyed every bit of it. =P

Absence of Silence

Ah, home alone.

Nothing to do but drone.

So hungry but lazy to cook.

So I end up reading a comic book.

What the heck am I doing? lol

Well, absence of silence means well there's always sound at home now since nobody's home. There's always sound because there's nobody here. Not because I'm scared being alone here... all by myself with no sound... no one... ARGH!

Never mind, not gonna think about it lol.

By the way, I've just finished playing DMC: Vergil's DownFall. Yeeee~ finally! I thought I could never finish it lol!

And moving on...

My current life situation, well, nothing much really. Now that I quit my not-so-good job, I have more free time. Wee! Well not until my second job that is. Well until then, I wanna enjoy my free time! Weeeeeeee

A long while since!

Hello peeps,
I know it has been a while since my last post. And I know I shouldn't start this post with lame excuses... but oh well, I've gotta explain myself right?
Uhhh hmm
Well first of all, I've been mighty busy with work and I didn't really have time to read or write. Never thought working took most of my time away. That's life I guess lol.
Anyway, recent updates. I have just downloaded this beautiful blogger app for the android. And I am actually typing away in this post using this app. I'm loving it! I should've thought of this sooner. Lol. I can actually blog anywhere, anytime now! Weeee =D
And moving on.
In these two weeks, I have the house to myself. And since nobody is gonna be at home... I wanna play games and roll around like a caterpillar at home all day lawng! I wanna finish DMC: Vergil's Downfall. XP

Seriously, its been a while since my last post! Have been busy ever since actually, was my final year. So yeah, I guess there was a lot of stuff I didn't get to post up here hehe

Alright, enough excuses. God, its February already.

Lets see, life's update.
Been busy not to say the least. I've started working since last month as a computer instructor at St. James Primary School, Likas. God, I thought I was screwed when they told me I had to teach these kids in Chinese. Lots of worst case scenarios ran through my mind, like every possible second there was something bad gonna happen to me or something. The first day of work was a nervous breakdown day for me lol. And not to mention my collegue was an annoying prick. Grr.... but luckily my supervisor was kind enough and we we talked about games the whole day lol

Well eventually, the teaching came naturally. The nervousness I felt slowly disappeared. It was a good opportunity for me to polish my chinese. I am actually excited that I got the chance to bully these kids lol XP

Lets see what else?

Oh yeah, I am actually quite happy now that I have my own Samsung Tablet. Everything feels so convinient now. I know this sounds irrelevant but I have a point, your honor! Get to it you say? ok! Well, you know I've always liked Otome Games. My tablet now becomes my number 1 source for it! Whoop!

..... OMG! That sounded so pathetic lol! For those who don't know otome games are.... well its better you don't lol but anyway for those who are curious..... its a dating simulation/visual novel for gals. XP


Okay, I wasted your time with that bit. lol moving on...

hmm... okay there is really nothing much going on with my life now. Except that I am busy working and such. Wells.. that's all folks!


oooo... wait! I wanna tell ya guys about this Trading Card Game that I found interesting. But maybe thats for another post and another time. Heheh
