Hope and Prayers

On the 24th of March 2014 (Monday) at approximately 10pm, PM Najib tun Razak announced to the world that flight MH370 last known location, according to the data provided by UK's airplane crash experts, is at Southern Indian Ocean, which is 4 hours away from Perth, Australia. It is believed that no one on-board the flight survived the disaster as the area is too remote and too far from any landing strips. The PM gave his heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of those on-board flight MH370, and he also urged the media to give them privacy and space in this trying times.

Although announced as crashed, flight MH370's debris has not yet surfaced. A confirmation of the previous debris found near the area has not been made. Speculations and new theories resurfaced from the new information. Lots of questions began to rise:
How did this happen?
What happened to the flight?
How did it end up so far away from home?
Why did the transponder and ACARS on the aircraft deliberately turned off?
Why did it make an air turn back?
Who is truly responsible for this tragedy?

All these questions remains unanswered. The recovery of the aircraft's 'black box' would then answer all of the questions swirling in everyone's mind right now.

Although the announcement was already made, the SAR operations will still continue rather than just purely doing a recovery mission. Hope still lingers in the heart of some people who believed that there are survivors from the tragedy.

My prayers go to the departed souls of the crew and passengers on-board flight MH370. May God bless their eternal soul. Also a heartfelt condolences to the family members and close friends of those on-board the flight. Stay strong and our prayers are with you as well.

Day 6: Someone who doesn't live in my country

Well on a lighter note, here's my almost neglected writing challenge. I decided to officially reboot this because I don't want to give up halfway on a challenge. So, from today on wards, today will officially be day 6 of the 30 days writing challenge! *clap clap*

Alright, someone who doesn't live in my country. Hmm, this is a toughie. That could be anyone. Lemme see, the person that I know that does not live in my country right now is... uhm Cobie Smulders! Orz I have no idea what to say here. Seriously though, she lives in Canada, which state you say? Why, Vancouver of course! I just love Cobie, I first knew her when I watched How I met your mother, I love her character, she is badass! I'm still watching HIMYM series till now, the latest season is season 9 the last installment of the series. *sad* 3 more episodes then no more Ted or Robin or Marshall & Lily or Barney. I'm gonna miss all of them and their misadventure. And how Ted's obsession in finding the right girl is a total psycho move but I still love him. And how Barney is the man-whore of the bunch in which the techniques he used although gross still makes me laugh. And how Marshall & Lily were always the inseparable couple. And how Robin is from Canada and has daddy issues.

.... I'm really gonna miss them T-T

I think I strayed from the main thing here lol. Well then, someone who doesn't live in my country (but I wish she could come here so I can meet her) is Cobie Smulders better known as Robin Scherbatsky the girl that has daddy issues in HIMYM. XD

Alright, thanks for reading anyways. Ciao~

A little hope

As of Saturday (15th March 2014), our Prime Minister Tan Sri Najib Tun Razak, announced that the B777-200ER aircraft, flight MH370 has made a deliberate turn around. The PM also said that the plane made its last contact to a satellite at 8:10am, just a little 30 minutes after MAS released the press release about the missing plane. The plane is believed to have taken either two corridors, the southern or the northern flight corridors.

Malaysia's investigation into the missing aircraft lasted a week before confirming the facts regarding the military radar that has picked up an unidentified aircraft, which is in fact MH370, in the early morning of 8th March. Our PM also mentioned that before the transponder on the aircraft was deliberately turned off by someone on the flight. We were told not to speculate on who did the deed to avoid giving false information to the public as well as not give false hope to the people involved.

This new development has placed the investigation on the missing aircraft into a new phase. An investigation is now open to investigate the characteristics and background of the passenger and crew on board the plane. Malaysian Authorities has now ceased the SAR operations in the South China Sea. They now moved the operations towards the Andaman seas and the Indian oceans with the help of several countries. The countries that offered help has increased from 14 to 25 in the hopes of finding the missing aircraft.

The PM stressed that the authorities can not confirm whether or not the aircraft was hijacked. The investigations on that matter are still on-going. The public and the media were urged not to make speculations regarding the investigation.

In these 7 days, everyone around the world prays for the safe return of MH370. Most of them have not given up hope. Lets continue to pray and hope that flight MH370 comes back home safely.

I know that my last 3 posts have been a little too serious and most of it concerns the missing aircraft. I promise I'll post something light in the coming post. Cheers.

Any information written here were based on the knowledge from the press conference conducted on the 15th March 2014, 2:18pm, by the PM, Tan Sri Najib Tun Razak. Don't sue me. Don't flame me. =)

The still missing MH370

Hello everyone,

The SAR efforts now enters day 5, there were still no sign of the missing aircraft. The family members of the passenger and crew are getting more and more anxious as the days went by. As each day passes, hope dampens.

There were several witnesses that claimed to have seen the aircraft cruising in a low altitude, flying across the mainland, heading towards the straits of Malacca. Everyone is hoping that the SAR teams will finally be able to find the plane in that area. Although clues regarding the aircraft were said to be in the straits of Malacca, the SAR team will still continue to scour the South China Sea for clues.

The Malaysian government is now under immense pressure as the World is watching its every move. One mistake will ruin their trust and confidence with our country. I hope our government is not withholding any crucial information from the family members. I hope they also inform the families in Beijing of the latest information as they too are anxiously waiting for answers.

Please continue to #PrayForMH370
I still pray for a miracle. I still hope that they would return safe. Please keep praying for their safety.

Special thanks to the countries that are helping in the search of the missing aircraft, flight MH370. Words of appreciation couldn't even convey how thankful we are of your sacrifice and effort to find MH370.

Please #PrayForMH370

On Saturday (8th March 2014) at 12:41am, a MAS B777-200ER aircraft, flight MH370 departed from KLIA bound to Beijing, China. 40 minutes after it's initial take off, contact from the aircraft was completely lost. And at 2.40am, the plane's signal went missing from radars across the region.

The Malaysian Government and MAS released a statement confirming that the MAS B777-200ER aircraft, flight MH370 is missing. A search and rescue effort was immediately mobilized. It was presumed that the plane had crashed in the Vietnamese ocean.

Frantic family members of the passenger and crew rushed over to the airports (KLIA and Beijing International Airport) after they heard the news. The news of the missing flight MH370 shocked the nation. How could a modern and sophisticated aircraft with a series of awards for being the safest aircraft in the world could just disappear into thin air?

A series of speculations and fake information circulate the social media as the investigation goes on. The authorities are urging the public not to believe any other information unless it is from the official statement from the government.

The news comes to me as shocking, I would never had thought that a tragedy such as this befalls our country. It is a very grave and sad news. I couldn't stop myself from trying to find information on the case. Everyone is hoping for a happy ending. I too hope for a miracle.

Let our hopes and prayers reach the passenger and crew of the flight MH370, and also give strength to the affected family members. May God bless their souls. Amen.
#PrayForMH370 spread the news and pray for MH370's safe return.

Day 5: 3 things I like about my personality

Finally, internet is here!

But then today's challenge is a little hard, let me see, what do I like about MY personality, huh? Well then the 3 things that I like about my personality is...

1. Well, I dunno how other people perceive my personality but I do feel that I am an open book. I am friendly. What I like  about this part of my personality is that I get to know a lot of people. No matter who it is. I could just chat like we were best friends in the whole wide world. I just love that I'm not that shy though I do feel that way sometimes when I'm a very stressful situation or somewhere unfamiliar.

2. I can adapt fast. I really like this part of me because somewhere in life, we eventually will be thrown into an unfamiliar setting. Things like this makes us feel uncomfortable and stressful. I do feel uncomfortable at first but give me time and I will adapt to the situation as fast as I could. I always think that things like this as a challenge. Life's a challenge so why not just take it head on, right? lol

3. I like how I don't give up easily. Sometimes I do feel demotivated and depressed, really who doesn't? But I just don't want to give up whether it was something technical like making mistakes in your workplace or just simply giving up your dream of becoming a writer. I make mistakes at work, I make mistakes at home, we are all bound to make mistakes but I never felt disheartened (maybe after 2 tubs of ice cream lol) by it even though I failed so many times. Never give up and believe in yourself is my motto in life.

.... I have no idea what I just written lol I don't even know if it fulfills the criteria of the challenge but whatever lol

so that's all folks! XD

Day 3: My day in detail

This was supposed to be posted on the 1st March 2014. No internet no post I sad.

Today in detail? Well then let me start off with I had fever and I could barely move the entire morning. My fever became worst as last night we arrived late from Tambunan. We were held up there for a while and went home at about 9pm. We arrived Penampang at around 12pm. Jr and I decided to send Kayon back home and we ended up chatting till 3am. We finally reached home at 330am.

Let me start from when I first woke up.

I woke up at 11am. I washed my face, brushed my teeth and took my bath. I then proceed to wake Jr up as he has work later at 12:30pm but no matter how hard I shake, struggled, kicked and pulled, he never moved an inch. So, I gave up and decided to just go back to sleep. It was after 2 hours of sleep that I woke up, well, I was forcefully woken up by none other than Jr who woke up an hour before I did. We then got ready to go out. While Jr was bringing his bag and my handbag to the car, I was dragging myself out of bed and zombie walk my way to the car. As soon as I finished crawling into the carseat, Jr closed the door for me and went to the driver's seat. He then climbs up the car, put on his seatbelt and starts the engine. He then checks my temperature by placing his palm on my forehead. I just grunted and made myself comfortable in my seat. Jr then backs up the car and drove us to Donggongon. Along the way, we were quiet because he knew I was sick and when I'm sick, I'm most likely not going to answer any of his questions or respond to any of his remarks. So he just stayed quiet and listen to his music while I had my eyes closed.

After a 15 minutes drive, we finally arrived at Megalong Shopping Mall. We parked on the 4th floor. We took the lift down to the 2nd floor and walked towards Taisen, where Jr works as a part timer, where David and Shoun were waiting. Today was Jr's last day as he resigned from manning the shop and Shoun was there to replace him. Jr taught Shoun the ropes and I lay my head on the cold table to cool my feverish head. Before Jr leaves the shop forever, he did a stock count with David to make sure everything is correct in the accounts and then Jr was given his last paycheck.

They then open the shop and a hoard of crazy kids burst into the shop and immediately took over the counter. Do their parents ever teach them how to queue? The noise and shuffling of shoes and slippers was making my head spin. After 3 hours of suffering in the cold aircon and the noisy atmosphere, Jr finally decided to take me home which I gladly welcomed. But before we go, we stopped by Rahmat to eat, well not me, Jr. After he has eaten, he went to the pharmacy to buy me medicine while I wait at Rahmat. After he came back, we immediately went back home to rest. I stayed at home and he went back to his. After he left, I stayed in bed the rest of the day. The end.

Day 2: Something I look forward to in the next 12 months

This was written on the 28th of February 2014. I had no internet to post this up. T-T

In 12 months huh? I have a lot to look forward to actually. Well first things first...

1. I'm seriously looking forward go to Japan! Am planning to buy tickets on April (in conjunction with Matta Fair) with my cousin, Tasia, her boyfriend, Jerry and Jr. Can't wait!!

2. Am really looking forward to Kelvin and Charlotte's Wedding where I'll be one of her bridesmaids. Need to lose weight for this! XD

3. I'm also looking forward to learn more on the environmental change in WWF-Malaysia. I'm learning a lot of things here and I am really glad I was taken in as one of them. Save our planet!

4. I am also looking forward to our family photoshoot this coming May. Need to lose WEIGHT!

Hmm, actually that is all what I could think of from the top of my head. ^^''

Thanks for reading! Ciao~
