Day 65, 66 & 67 of CMCO

Hiya peeps! I'm back!

Bringing you the super exciting stories of my day to day life during the CMCO! Malaysia is now in Phase 5 of the fight against COVID19. A lot of other businesses are now open! And a whole more people moving about town. Understandable, given that people are mostly trapped at home for almost 2 months.

A little changes in my life since the CMCO was announced, I now need to go to work at least once a week, the rest of the days, we're required to work from home, which was a blessing.

Other than that, I bought a second hand air conditioner from a friend, and just got installed!

I must say, having a wall aircon is so much different than having a portable aircon. I was using the portable one this whole time, and it's never cold enough. It couldn't fight against the heat that was permeating from the ceiling.

And wow, after installing the wall aircon, it was drastically different! My room was cool and tolerable in the afternoon! You guys can tell how excited I am with this prospect, right? lol

Cough. Right.
That's it for my update!

That's it? Really?

What about the games you were playing, you ask? What's going on with that? What's your update on those games, you ask?

Well! Thank you for your interest! I was gonna update you guys with that soon!

But before that, here.
A kitten to make your day! 😄

Okay alright. Game updates!

Just so you guys know, I started replaying another game. I know, I know. I need to finish my previous games first. But I miss playing this game, and I kinda forgot how the story goes for this one already.

What's the game you ask? It's Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy for the Nintendo Dual Screen (NDS).

Yes, I revived my NDS just to play this game LOL

I was actually going through the PSN store to look for something to play, and I came upon this game's trailer. I was thinking of buying it for the PS4, but a friend told me there isn't much difference from the NDS version aside from the enhanced graphics of course.

So, I checked my NDS to see if it's working, voila! Here we are.

Screencaps below!
This is, I think the second turnabout/episode in the game.

Oh and by the way!

since I got my laptop working, I started to draw again! 😁

Okay, that is it for now! Stay tuned for more!

Day 38 - 64 of MCO

Hiya peeps! I haven't been posting a whole lot lately. I guess I've lost a little bit of steam on posting here.

Honestly, I doubt anyone reads this.

Though I did start this project at the beginning of the MCO to keep me occupied and inspired, in a way? I guess? Gotta soldier on!

To anybody out there who found time to read this, thank you so much! You guys are awesome!

So onto my main thing. I broke my days down, this is gonna be a lot. Bear with me. Please? Okay? Okay.

Day 38 & 39 of MCO
I actually streamed my playthrough of FFVIIR for friends that don't have the PS4 and the game. I'm quite happy to share my experience with friends. Though I am a bit awkward when I play games in front of an audience. I mostly streamed the playthrough when I'm done with sidequests, I didn't want the audience see me running around (getting lost) doing sidequests. That'll be extremely BORING!

To the peeps who watched the stream, I thank you for your support, you guys literally made my day. I'm not much of a talker when I play but if you talk to me I'll respond. I swear I'm not as awkward as I seem to be. LOL

Here are some screencaps for your eyes to feast on! (it's not a lot)

I love Jessie in the remake, her personality shines through in this one.

Aren't Chocobos the cutest???

Thats Cloud, in a dress.

Top dog in darts, mah peeps!

I wish I had more screencaps to show, but I don't wanna spoil too much of the game.

Day 40 of MCO
Ah, 26th April, I forgot it's already that time of the year.

I am officially 32.

Older and hopefully wiser (and truthfully more of a wise ass). *cough*

Mum and my aunt, who was coincidentally at my house, baked me a cake!

See below!
It's a butter sponge cake with pieces of cheese on top.

I love it! It's so very rustic and simple. My mum does not like baking, like me, she doesn't have the patience to do so. But for her to make this for me from scratch, it was super duper endearing. I told her I didn't need a cake but she still does it anyway.

Mom, even though we butt heads sometimes, I do love you. Thank you for raising me to be who I am today. I was never sad that I never grew up with a dad, I had you and it was enough.

I grew up to be a respecful person, and I never let being raised in a broken home (and those who looked down on me because of that) bring me down.

Day 41 - 44 of MCO
I spent literal hours of my days trying to finish FFVIIR during this time. I spent most of my time streaming my gameplay session and I rarely get to save screencaps during the playthrough LMAO

'twas during this time I FINALLY finished playing the game. I was playing on normal mode for my first playthrough, I thought about playing the hard mode as soon as I get some well deserved rest from the game.

So, here's my review of the game. (solely based on my opinion and my own experience)

The storyline is very close to the original. I love every aspect of it, everytime I looked at the scenery, the cutscenes, the ambiance, etc. It reminds me of the original FFVII, it was a hit of nostalgia everytime I run through the game!

I was a kid (around 12-ish?) when I played the original, and I struggled so much to understand it. The remake however makes the storyline seamlessly jive into the gameplay! I absolutely love the direction! And the battle mechanics! LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE!

BUT.

There's one thing that bugs me. Its small and maybe not important.

It this, the animation when you go to open a chest. Ugh. Cloud just slides, no, glides, to open it. I feel like its sloppy and lazy. I mean the cinematic view is awesome but you can't get the guy to walk up to the chest NORMALLY?

That's the only thing that irks me, the rest was an absolute joy to witness.

Alright that is it for my review of FFVIIR, the next game on my list is Two Point Hospital! I've just downloaded the game after finishing FFVIIR. Stay tuned for that one!

Day 45 of MCO
It's Labour day today! Happy Labour Day everyone!

Alsooooooo.

There was an announcement from the PM of Malaysia today about the state of our fight against COVID19.

The PM announced that on the 4th of May, there will be an ease to the current MCO to revive the economic state of the country. He introduced the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), where the Government will allow some shops to open for business. i.e. Hardware, Eletronic, Handphone, Gadgets stores, etc.

According to the PM, they had the backup from MOH, and from the stats, we're doing pretty good in containing the virus. Thus, the decision to ease the MCO was made.

PROVIDED that Malaysians are willing to follow SOPs set by the government.

Not all Malaysians agree to this sudden change, most are still afraid that the ease on the MCO will bring forth more new infected cases in the country. And with Hari Raya coming soon, there's no telling what's gonna happen when every one decides to balik kampung (return to their hometowns).

Although Sabah (and some other states as well) CM decided that they will not ease the MCO, for fear of sudden spikes of new cases within the state.

Therefore, I will not have to go to work on the 4th of May.

Thank you Lord!

Day 46 - 49 of MCO
And so continuing staying at home, I've downloaded a new game called Two Point Hospital for the PS4. I used to play something similar on the PC when I was younger, it was called Theme Hospital. If I'm not mistaken.

As the name suggests, it's a hospital simulation game. I'm hooked to be honest. I can't stop playing it till late into the night. My husband could only shake his head as he looks on. (He plays Tekken 7 on the PS4, he loves it so much that he's planning to buy an arcade stick for that)

I wish I have screencaps for you guys. Maybe after this post? ;)

Day 50 of MCO
Ah, the 5th of May, the day the storm hits.

Behold.
A natural pool.

Flooding has been a serious issue in our area, and with the construction of Pan Borneo still on-going, it's making matters worse. I just wish this'll be resolved once Pan Borneo is completed. (I honestly doubt it though)

The door I managed to save before it got carried away by the flood.

Mum and I decided to make dumplings (wo tie in mandarin) while waiting for the flood to subside.

A weird coping mechanism, I know. But the Dumpling's good!

My husband on the other hand, caught some baby fish, believe it or not at the same pool of water in the picture above. He was EXTREMELY excited about it too. *shakes head*

The water eventually subsides, it was the most terrifying 2 hours of my life. I'm glad that was over.

Day 51 - 54 of MCO
Okay, I'm gonna be honest here. I'm not done with Two Point Hospital. BUT I saw two new (free) games from PSN Plus. Farm Simulator and Cities Skyline. I immediately added it to my library of games (that most I have not even touched since I've saved it).

Other than that, what have I been up to? Well, I'm replaying Dragon Age: Inquisition AGAIN. Reasons being, I've made changes in Dragon Age Keep, and I'd like to see the changes translated in DA:I.

Here she is!
she's a warrior now, previously I tried the rogue class. Still a human LOL.

Day 55 of MCO
An announcement from the PM of Malaysia.

The new CMCO will be extended from the 13th of May to 9th of June, not surprised to be honest.

Day 56 of CMCO
It was an uneventful day. Just the normal day to day routine during MCO, and dreading tomorrow morning as it's my first day of work after a long while. I remember turning my alarms, yes plural, on, and dread the next morning. Help!

I've also downloaded Cities Skyline for the PS4 and hoped that I know how to play this thing lol

Day 57 of CMCO
It's my first day of work after staying at home! I honestly miss the office.

Here's a selfie of me, at my cubicle.

We were supposed to go to work Monday - Wednesday & Friday - Saturday, but the executive decision was to only come on Monday for work for everyone's safety.

We then spent the day cleaning and sanitizing the office. After that, we were free to do whatever we want. (watches movies the whole day)

Day 58 - 61 of CMCO
I finally get the chance to go to Karamunsing and the husband tagged along to follow the wife's every whim LOL

My laptop has stopped working all this while and I thought it was time to get it fixed, the husband agrees of course, also he agreed to pay for it. Heeeeheeeeheeee

When we arrived at the mall, we were surprised to see a lot of cars. It appears that there are a lot of people at the mall today despite it still being CMCO. Although I guess people are bored for staying at home this whole time.

Both of us cautiously browsed for a good place to repair the laptop, the husband was so diligent and determined to find a good shop for me. I didn't really mind going to any shop as long as I get my laptop fixed, but he was really into finding the right shop. We prowled the second and third floor for the 'best' shop, and finally found one (his opinion).

After that, we decided to stroll around for a bit coz it has been a while since we gone out to a mall together, and the we went home.

The rest of the days were spent on playing games (Cities Skyline). I promise I'll get the screencaps soon! Stay tuned!

Day 62 of CMCO
Ah, it's Monday again. I suddenly had a Monday blues moment when I woke up. I had to go to work today.

We spent the whole day cleaning the office again. Coz honestly we're at lost as we don't have much to do except doing the cleaning. We vacuumed the carpets, mopped the floors, wiped our tables, cleaned the glass door and partitions, etc.

After around 1 hour or so, we sat down and stare at each other (at a distance). At around 11am, we had a meeting to discuss on the SOP around the office and punter area. That took around 30 minutes. At 12pm, we all went home. WOO!

Day 63 - 64 of CMCO
Okay, I'm getting a little repetitive here. I'm SO SORRY!

On these days, my husband and I decided to binge watch Supernatural. I miss my bois!

We binged watched this till late midnight, I realize I had to wake up early to go to work the next day.

And I woke up pretty late! GAH! I had to quickly do my morning routine and rush to work, and here I am at work right now, updating this blog. LMAO!

Did I mention I get the Monday off next week? YEEEEEES!

Okay that is it for now. I promise I'll make a better content the next post. I know I can!

Ciao!

Day 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 & 37 of MCO

Hey guys, how are you? How are you guys coping? Me? I'm doing great! Although my sleeping pattern has changed for the worst lol other than that, yeah. I'm great!

Let me just break my updates down so its easier lol

Alrighty then.

Day 32 of MCO
Ah yes. Day 32, 18th of April 2020. The day we were supposed to get married, where the ceremony and reception will be held on the same day. Both of us had planned the wedding for months, we even had an arguement about which date to pick, which photographer, etc. It's such a funny memory to reminisce now though.

So anyway, I moped a little bit in the morning. The husband cheered me up, wishing me Happy Wedding with a cheery (and smug) smile. I pinched him for being playful as he laughed at me. I've also received the same greeting from his eldest sister via video call. We chatted a while before we both hung up to cook our husbands' breakfast.

I did my thing for the day, cook breakfast, took a bath, ate breakfast, play games, etc. The usual.

At around 2pm (after ANOTHER round of showering), I received a phone call to announce the arrival of.... drum roll please!

My FFVIIR! I was told it's gonna delayed. I was expecting to get it after the MCO. But lo and behold, it's here!

Ta-daaaaaah!
I bought the deluxe version, splurge a small bit cause it's one of my all time fav. game. It includes the game (of course), a steel disc container or steel book? i think, an artbook, 2 summon materia DLC, and a mini soundtrack CD!
Thank you for the wedding gift! *pats myself*

BUT!

but.

I've decided that I will not play FFVIIR until I finished the game that I'm currently still playing which is the Dragon Age: Inquisition. (which i will cover later)

Onto another event, a super nice gesture from my childhood friends, the Hlaws group. We did a group video call to celebrate my 'wedding' by yamseng-ing to the camera. It was a great night. We catched up, we played drinking games, the ever elusive Kenny was present, we played games, etc.

We were so loud when we played scribbl.io LOL especially when I drew Kung Fu, I tried drawing Bruce Lee, in the end, they figured it out by the sounds I was making instead of the drawing, waaa-taaaahhhh *Bruce Lee noises*

The night ended when we finished 10 rounds of scribbl.io.

Thank you again guys, you all are the absolute best. I love you all!

Day 33 (34, 35 & 36) of MCO
And so we move on to day 33, I spent the whole day playing Dragon Age: Inquisition today.

I've been up so late playing this game. It has captivate me with its gameplay, its storyline, its characters, its lores, and not forgetting the romance.

The cool thing about this game is you can create your own character, customize them to your taste, and most interesting of all the choices you make later in the game has its pros and cons. It makes you think, I for one am very bad at making decisions. It was not easy for me, I spent hours agonizing, and some I'd be like, eff it all and pick. lol!

I've never played DA:I. The first two, yes, but it has been a while to be honest. I can't remember how it went.

So, how did I stumbled on this game you ask? Here's the embarassing part, I was looking online for an Otome Game. I was bored. Thought I want a game to pull at my heart string. And pulled they did.

I saw online that the Dragon Age series has a romance element in it, I went on the PSN store to search for one (coz idiot didn't remember the series had the romance element. I was specifically searching for a Japanese one LOL). I was actually looking for Code Realize I think but the store doesn't have it. Weird. Maybe it's not available for my region. So the next best thing was Dragon Age. I found DA:I, not the others, and it was the Game of the Year edition, with all its DLCs included for RM21! I was like, buy it don't blink, and I also thought, hmm, game of the year, must be good. And hell yes, it is.

Instead of me talking too much about this. So without further ado, here are my screencaps!

So these are my character summary, I'm a human noble from the house of Trevelyan, a rogue (using double daggers coz I'm badass). I'm supposed to be more inclined towards the Chantry (the Church, me thinks) and the Templars (ironic coz if you've seen how I've been playing LMAO)
this is my customized human noble, NiftyAeon Trevelyan. (looks gloomy at first I know)

I was arrested. I don't want to spoil anything. So yeah, I got arrested.

Reminds me of a scene from LOTR, a human, a dwarf, and an elf lol

Ah, Commander Cullen Rutherford. Hello, handsome.
I took, many, MANY, pictures of him. Shut up.
look at this cutie! ;) This is Krem.
I am a noble afterall.
This scene ;) (squint if you must)

So picturesque

That my friends is the end of my screencaps. I took quite a while to finish this game, I hated the wicked eyes and wicked heart quest. It took a toll on me in various ways. The game's good, honest, but man, hated that quest lol

Loved the ending even though it hurts. I have a whole lot of screencaps and videos to show you all, but if I do that I'd spoil everything LMAO

I know, I know, this game was released 6 years ago. Hey, who knows there are people like me who didn't play this game until now, right?

To those who have not played this yet, please give it a try. To those who have, you and I are in the same fandom now. You guys are not getting rid of me.

That concludes day 33 to 36 LOL coz thats all I did, I played this game till I was done.

Day 37 of MCO
So today I started playing FFVIIR, I streamed it via my twitch account here if you guys are interested. I do have a few screencaps but I have not saved it to my handphone yet.

Onto another news, our PM has just announced the extension of Malaysia's MCO from 28th April to 12th May 2020. The 4th phase of our fight against COVID19.

Lets keep fighting coz I've been watching our stats, our new cases are declining, its now down from the hundreds count, and recoveries are now higher than new positive cases. Lets help our frontliners by staying at home, hygeine at the utmost importance, pratice social distancing at all times when buying essentials, and most importantly stay healthy. God bless us all.

To frontliners, thank you so much for the continued hardwork. And also to all muslim frontliners, family, and friends, selamat berpuasa.

Stay at home.

That is all, till the next update. Ciaosu!

Day 28, 29, 30 & 31 of MCO

Heylo peeps! What is up? I'm doing great. How are you guys coping? So Phase 3 of the MCO started 3 days ago, I honestly couldn't tell what day it is anymore. I'm praying that it doesn't extend anymore to phase 4. That's what I hope but as I see the news, and read the official twitter of our Ministry of Health, man, I'm honestly disappointed and mostly afraid for Malaysia. The curve isn't flattening any time soon, and new cases aren't declining as much as we want it to be. So it's not gonna surprise me if it's extended again. Fortunately though, there were a lot of recoveries from time to time, and hopefully we'll see more recoveries, and lesser new cases in the days to come.

That's one thing. The other is that why are 5-10% Malaysians are still out and about like it's a normal day? How are we going to reduce new cases when we continue to be ignorant? When will this end if we're all acting this way? This frustrates me. You guys don't care is it? As long as you happy is it? It's fine if your stupidity doesn't cause any national emergency, but bruh, this is a PANDEMIC we talking about. What are you guys doing?

STAY AT HOME THE LOT OF YOU!

This ain't fun times, whoopee doo dah, I can still go out partyin', whoo whee. My dudes, please don't be selfish, think about your family and friends. Your action might affect them so stay at home, do what the government asks you to do, stay safe, and stay healthy. God bless us all.

Okay, I've been keeping that to myself for quite a while now. It feels good to get it off my chest.

And so onto my gaming updates! Yeaaaay!

Today's gaming update is for The Sims 4!
Today's featured household is Reaching for the Stars Household! (Arveciel Kohler & -I'll introduce him down below-)

Prepare for screencaps 😂

This is Arv, she's on set, acting as a supporting character is an ala Jane Austen movies. It's called of Tea and Treachery.
Arv and her co-worker on their first scene that day.

As I've mentioned before, Arv is living with roomates right now. And one of them is the handsome Ludwig Oxenstierna. He's a paralegal that's still studying law, he's going to take the lawyer exam soon, and he hopes that he passes the bar to become a lawyer. He's a hardworker, he barely interacts with other roomates, and this (screencap below) is a rare occassion where he joins the gang.
Ludwig in the middle.

And Arv at the side, chatting with other roomates. She does notice Ludwig, she occassionally flirted with him, only to be ignored (only because he's seriously dense and oblivious to girls flirting).

And life goes on for Arv.
This is she, on set for Detective Law, she's slowly making her mark in the industry. She's quite serious in her craft, she'd come extremely prepared for every movie, tv series or commercial that comes her way.
Cheers! (not really, it's just water)

One day, on Arv's day off, as she sat down for breakfast, Ludwig came out to have breakfast with her. They've never interacted beyond their circle of friends (and roomates), this was the first time they did and they had fun talking, and get to know each other.

Look at how cute Ludwig is posting up odd jobs for a hiking buddy LOL

And so from that day onwards, they've become friends, and every so often, they'd ask about each other's day, and how their work was, with Arv occasionally flirting with him as he remains oblivious. Men, right? lol

And after a while (a few weeks), Ludwig FINALLY took Arv out for a date, a celebratory date, as Ludwig passed the bar. He is now officially a LAWYER! Yay!

Look at them, so cute together. Bliss ❤

So what's gonna happen to them next? Stay tuned! For now, I gotta go my peeps.

Ciao!

Day 27 of MCO

Yoo peeps! How are you guys doing? Sure hope you guys are okay. Stay safe and stay healthy mah peeps!

Right, onto my update today (I'm so productive lately ;)). A friend (shoutout to Yus!) found an android game and posted it on FB.

And it is.... DRUMROLL PLEASE!

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp!

For those of you, who have this, dude pelase hmu. And to those who don't, well if you're Malaysian, it's not in Google Playstore. It's not available in our country mah peeps. *cri*

But fear not, the friend provided us with an APK link. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for Android
The installation guide is in the website. No worries, it's easy to download and install. But here, see below for the real download link if you're confused with which link.

Next up is my screencaps of my playthrough this afternoon. Get ready lol!

That there is my ID and my IGN. Add me!

Met this cool guy here, he's my fav. We were jammin' in the middle of the woods haha!

Juicin' with the cool Koala bear.

Yeah, fishing! Fav thing to do in game but dislike it in real life. Heck yeah!

Look at that egg shaped fishies! So cute!

My first ever passing point in interior decorating!

I won that Koto through sheer hard work! (catching 15 Sakura Shrimps)

What's the game all about you say?

You arrived at the campsite only to find out that you're the camp manager (your avatar is gonna as shocked as you), and your goal is to make your campsite as awesome as it can be!

So the main thing here is:
1. You can decorate your campsite as per your desire
2. You complete requests from forest inhabitants and befriend them
3. Once you reach a certain level of friendship with these inhabitants, you can invite them to your campsite!
4. You collect items in the forests to complete requests for these inhabitants.
5. Everytime you level up, you unlock items and more inhabitants.
6. You can visit friends and water their plants
7. Have fun! It's a casual game, no grinding, no time limit (except events) quests, etc. Anicross and chill.

I hope that was clear and easy to understand. Enjoy the game! If you guys are in the game already, don't forget to add me up!

Ciao!
