you know? i have to write this in a CC...ugh my connection is getting suckier....and suckier.... Orz i think i should change the broadband provider...ugh =A=
but anyway i'll continue the story before i forgot any details lol and i wanna write this quick too lol i don't want to be looking over my shoulder to see if anyone is looking at me while i write lol~
Day 4 - Zhuhai - GuangZhou
lets see we start the day with breakfast as usual... and without me realizing it... i'm getting fatter. i can feel the fats! RAWR! anyway i better continue writing before i start babbling about my weight issues.... again. ugh okay so we went for breakfast and then catch a ride... no lar kidding lol a bus is provided for us to travel to guangzhou. i think it takes about 2 hours from zhuhai to guangzhou. see i told you putting off the story too long makes me forget the details! Orz
but i do remember, we did a few stops on the way haha and the amazing thing is the driver don't even know where we're going if not for a small device called the GPS i'm sure we'll all be lost somewhere in china by now~ lol its kinda cool hahhaa but enough about me and my fetish for gadgets.
we did a few stops the first was to a tea house and you guessed it! they sell teas! and my mom is absolutely obsessed with chinese teas lol and i only know two kinds of tea, okay maybe three kinds and that is the green tea, chinese tea (not defined. sold commercially in restaurants and cafes in kk) and oolong/wulong? lol i have no preference over teas to me they all taste the same lol
but i guess i changed my opinion about teas when i tried the 4 kinds of teas at the tea house. the first one is the oolong tea (or the black dragon tea), the second is uhh... let me recall...oh yeah white tea and then ginseng tea (blech...) and lastly the lychee tea.
the oolong tea tastes really nice, it smells nice too lol first you pour the tea inside a small cylinder cup and then transfer it to a smaller flatter cup (the normal cup we usually see chinese people use for drinking tea on TV). you'll uhh... smell the aroma of the tea first before enjoying the tea. it is how the chinese people do it. and i admit the tea smells so nice~ mmmm~
and then the white tea... at first it tastes bitter and it doesn't really appeal to me but a few minutes later when you wash your mouth with warm water you can taste the remnants of the white tea's sweetness. mmm~ hahaha
and then the ginseng tea.... one word...blech.... only for those who likes bitter stuff...ugh... me? i'm a sweets person therefore...yuck.
lastly the lychee tea... to put it simple... the tea tasted like lychee lol~
okay once the shopping for tea is done we all head to our next destination~ and that is to a bee....house? lol
we went to a very educational tour (even though its hard to get information with a poorly translated...data) we learn how bees are harnessed to produce honey~ lol and we get to sample the products created from the honeybee's honey
the products that we are allowed to try was the royal jelly and ice honey tea lol both of them tastes good. the honey drink comes with a lot of flavours apparently lol
my mom bought a big...glass bottle of royal jelly... they say if you take half a spoon of this... and you'll maintain your youth? pft lol okay i don't make sense
oh yeah the program is a good thing too now we know how to differentiate real honey from the honey that they add sugar in... lol but that can only be done if you open the cap and pour a small amount of it on a flat plate and add water and uhh...slide the water back and forth. you can see if its real honey, the shape of the bees' nest will appear on the plate / tray if not...then its not the real one lol
another cool fact, if you use the steel spoon / metal spoon to scoop out honey from its bottle then the property inside the honey will be different i guess because the chemical from the spoon is interfering with the honey's... good properties? lol so from now on if you wanna take honey from your jar please use a plastic spoon~
another cool fact is uhm... if you put your jar of honey inside the fridge it'll turn to sugar instead of honey hahaha because i know we usually put them inside the fridge because kita suma takut dia bangas bah kan? hahahha!
alright after visiting the bees we are back on the road to guangzhou~ on the way we went through the humen (the tiger's gate/door? direct translation lol) bridge. the bridge is apparently the first bridge that crosses over the sea. i think it was funded by the millionaire from macau... or was it hong kong? but i'm pretty sure its from macau because my brain says the guy is related with casinos lol so yeah i made an assumptions lol
oh yeah the condition of the road from zhuhai to guangzhou is surprisingly good (better even from KK! =.=). so the ride was smooth and i was able to sleep soundly... and i hope i didn't drool all the way to guangzhou LOL!
uhm we arrived at guangzhou around 7pm and we went directly to a restaurant to have our dinner so after that we were sent to our hotel
so there you have it day 4 of my china trip~ sorry for the late update... my internet connection is seriously killing me!
i hope i can update soon... and i hope my connection will get better... because i have a bunch of stuff needed to be downloaded ugh....
ciao ciao for now!
