Day 9, 10 & 11 of MCO

Heya peeps! How are you guys? Still staying at home? If you are, awesome! High five! Lets curb the infection! If you're not, what in tarnation are you doing? Stay at home! Help the frontliners, don't add more cases their way, they're at their full capacity already. Keep yourself safe and keep our frontliners from burning out! Okay, I'm done raging lol and so...

Updates! And some story telling...
As you guys know, I've been playing The Sims 4 since the beginning of Malaysia's MCO, my first household has grown into adults! (They were previously young adults lmao)

Here's them building a snowman together. This is Rickazama Kaiju & NiftyAeon Jaeger, already married (wish I recorded their progress before this post), no children yet, they're trying to get pregnant actually. So, yay!

Lets just introduce my main household. Nifty was working in a publishing house as an intern at first, she worked her way up to become a renowned author. She released quite a few bestsellers before she decided to quit and went into the culinary world (while still writing on the side) as she found passion in cooking food. And now, she's already the sous chef of a famous restaurant.

She's also a small time celebrity in her community (for releasing a few bestsellers during her time as an author at an elite publishing house). Nifty's work life has been incredible in her young adult's life, now that she's venturing into her adult life, what could be waiting for her? A bundle of joy? Or a new career path? Hmm.

Rickazama, his previous career has been a secret to many (he was a spy), he told them (including his wife) he was just a normal salesperson that has resigned from the world of sales. Presently he's pursuing the life of an entertainer, he's now a vocalist and guitarist at a nearby lounge. His career is gaining traction as his popularity rises. Judith Ward (a famous celebrity, who often visit the lounge) dubs him an up-and-coming newcomer. So, whats next for Rickazama? Stay tuned!

Onto my second household, Peony Jaymes, eldest daughter of Felix & Helen Jaymes. She has just enrolled into University of Britechester, pursuing the Degree of Psychology. She's fun, outgoing, and a hopeless romantic.

Here she is as she made it into the university, working hard as a barista and eventually getting a scholarship while studying at the university! She eventually said goodbye to her friends at Brewbux to focus on her studies.

The third household! Lark Deo Vermont, the only son of Maxmillian Theo & Trish Vermont. His parents enrolled him into Britechester to encourage him to be independent. He's been partying way too much in his teens and never focused on his studies. His parents sent him off to uni and cut off his allowances. He was angry and volatile when he found out that he has to live in a dorm and fend for himself (his parents cut him off completely)

And that was when he met Peony. He was rude and always find ways to make fun of her. She just rolled her eyes and ignored his antics of course, she had no time to deal with this man-child.

It was in their second term that Lark has found himself in trouble. He's failing in his subjects and because he was mainly being an ass the whole time he was there, no one wants to help him. So one day, as he sat quietly on one of the benches in the middle of the Britechester quad, contemplating his life, was when Peony ran pass him.

Peony noticed that he looks so forlorn sitting on the bench, so much so that she stopped to sit next to him and asks whats going through his mind. He was so touched that no words came out from his mouth at first. After a few minutes of silence, he spilled out everything. No secrets were spared.

After listening to him, Peony made a decision (to his surprise) to help him with his studies. She was strict and does not want to listen to his complaints. She guided him to where he needed to be. He's going to pursue a degree in Biology as that was what he had most interest on.

Here's him contently doing his coursework.

Coming into the fourth term together, Lark and Peony became closer than ever. They went to see football matches, debate show and even hangout at the bar together. They were the bestest of friends, inseparable. One night, after having a study session together, Lark confessed that he has been harbouring feelings for Peony, and asks her if she would be his girlfriend. She happily accepted the request and confessed that she too has feelings for him. (anti climactic, I know LOL)

Here's them taking their first selfie together.

Now that they're a couple, what awaits them? Stay tuned!

And with that I'm done with my sims 4 update LOL I have not edited any of this. There will be unevitable grammar mistakes everywhere, please forgive me. I still do hope you guys enjoy reading this to the end.

That's all from me! Ciaosu!

Day 5, 6, 7 & 8 of MCO

Heyaa my peeps! How are you all doing after staying at home for a week? Learnt new recipes yet? Continued working out? Finally get to finish all your DIY projects or start a new hobby?

For me, I tried a lot of different recipes during this first week and spent a lot of my time in the sims world just to taste a semblence of a normal life. That's how much I wanted life to return to normal again to be honest.

Alright enough of my shenanigans, there was an announcement from Malaysia's PM at 1pm today.

Lo and behold, my prediction was right. The MCO will be extended for another two weeks to help curb the COVID19 in the country. The PM did mention that 95% of Malaysians are adhering to the MCO and staying at home (as for the other 5%, I dunno what the hell were they thinking).

This is my opinion, not related to any official source, just my opinion.

I felt that our country's curve has been stabilising so far with positive cases in the 100+. Hopefully after the three weeks MCO (I believe its needed) to slowly bring the positive cases to a downward curve and eventually ZERO positive cases in the country to ease the burden on our medical frontliners.

Let us all pray for our future, Malaysians and pray also to our hardworking frontliners!

Thats all from moi, ciaosu!

Day 3 & 4 of MCO

Hilo peeps, it's now day four into the movement control order. And I'm BORED! Not that I'm not grateful that I'm safe at home and frontliners are doing their best out there, it's just that well, there's nothing to do anymore. I washed the car, cooked, washed our clothes, watched a serie, play games, scroll through social medias, etc. Oh man. Okay, I'm just gonna say that I AM grateful before some people say I'm an ungrateful bitch.

And one more thing, I honestly feel like while being quarantine, I wanna go offline. The amount of fake news, whatsapp news and statuses that are on my phone is stressing me out. Its giving me mild anxiety. People are just so trigger happy when they share these so called news. Ughh!

I just wanna say, don't post unverified news, it doesn't benefit anyone. It just creates unnecessary panic.

Enough rants.

So day 3 & 4, most of the day was spent on wake up, cook breakfast, eat, drink, gaming, cook lunch, eat, drink, watch netflix, cook dinner, eat, drink, take a shower, watch netflix, snacking, gaming, drink, sleep. And the cycle goes on.

Well managed to get out once to replenish supplies on both days. It was a small relieve after being cooped up at home.

After coming back however, I spent the rest of the day playing the sims 4 on the ps4, planning my sims' wedding coz I couldn't in real real. *is sad*

Look at them, so happy together. And thats day three.

And then there's day four. All the same but I tried making the Dalgona Coffee and successfully recreated it. Yassssssss! I'm gonna try making it tomorrow again.

Looks yum, amirite? lol

Oh right, here comes some serious news. Malaysia's COVID19 case has increased 153 positive cases today and Sabah being 17 of them. Sabah's cases are slowly decreasing in the positive cases as most of the Ijtimak members has gone for their health screening. Thank you very much for being responsible! Their close contact has also gone through health screening and awaiting results.

There were still a whole lot of PUIs, lets hope and pray that their results are negative. 🙏🏻

Ok guys, we can do this. Lets all stay at home, lets curb this virus together! Infected people, please get medical help ASAP. Don't wait, no one is going to judge you, it's not your fault. Just be responsible and get yourselves checked.

No rumours, no judgement, no stigma!

That's all from me, ciaosu!

Day Two of MCO

What do you guys do when you're given two weeks staying at home?

Me? Well, I woke up super late today coz yesterday le husband (still getting used to the term) and me went to his family home to hangout. We hung out, chat, etc (coughmoginumcough) till 330am, we reached home at 4am. I went straight to bed man, I was that tired.

The next day was a late start for me and le husband. We had brunch, went out to Donggongon to buy essentials, got our afternoon nap, cook dinner, had dinner and then we sat down to watch a movie while snacking. As I'm typing away here, le husband is playing his Tekken. He said he'll have enough training these two weeks to become a world champion (rolls eyes, but I'm his wife so Imma support him lol).

Just a peaceful day. I'm honestly bored out of my mind but I'm grateful that I'm able to rest at home unlike so many others. Thank you so much frontliners for working so hard for all of us. Take care, stay safe and God bless you all, always.

And I'm Nifty, signing off. Ciaosu!

Day 1 Movement Control Order (MCO)

Hilo peeps, honestly it has been a while, a LONG while. 3 years to be exact. Lots has happened. I got fat, I got thin... and then I got FAT again. The DRAMA!

And so, what does Nifty bring to the plate today except mentioning how she expands, not in a good way. lol.

Well, as you all know, COVID19 has gained the status of PANDEMIC. Now, every nation is scrambling to contain the virus and our country, Malaysia is no different.

The Malaysian government has decreed during a special announcement on 16 Mar 2020 at 10pm, that a Movement Control Order is to be placed for a two week period starting on Wednesday (18 Mar - 31 Mar 2020). There will be no businesses and government offices open during this time, except essential services (water, eletricity, energy, telecommunication, postal services, transport, irrigation, oil, gas, fuel, lubricant, broadcast, finance, bank, health, pharmacy, fire, prison, port, airport, safety, defence, grocery and food supply).

We are a non essential company therefore the next day (17 Mar 20), after the announcement, you have NO idea how we were all scrambling to finish tasks AND answer phone calls from our agents and outlets throughout Sabah. I was going up and down the building (the assist that I need to lose weight) and all the while the office phones AND my handphone did not stop ringing up until one in the afternoon where things had calmed (TF) down.

During all the chaos yesterday of getting things done, my SO and I decided that it was best we got legally married before everything closes down for two weeks. He said, we don't know what's gonna happen in the next two weeks (dear Lord, so morbid) and he went to the court to set the time. That was when my family and I scrambled (for the second time yesterday) to get ready and arrived at court on time. We weren't the only couple there to be honest. Someone else had the same idea we did.

After ALLLLLLLL that, now, I'm legally married. I'm now someone's wife. How FRIGGIN' surreal is that??? These two weeks is gonna be confusing and surreal as both of us go into this marriage life during the weirdest time of the year, no, of the CENTURY! Oh the drama. LMAO!

And so yesterday we partied so hard (at home), played lap lap fu so hard (at home), and was high and drunk while laughing so much till we passed out (at home) with my brother and his girlfriend. We finally went to sleep at 3am.

So, day one of the MRO.
After last night's 'partying' (the neighbours were having so much fun than we were, they were karaokeing till dawn LOL), I woke up super early (8am) for a person who slept at 3am. Made coffee for le husband (still surreal) and both of us prepared breakfast, binge watching a serie and catching up mostly. But that gets old real fast coz there were times that we sat there and said absolutely nothing LMAO!

While I'm writing this blog, le husband already went down to wash our cars, and maybe after finishing this, I'll start playing my never-got-to-finish-it-coz-i'm-busy-adulting games. FINALLY!

Well, thats it. Day one of the MRO and my married life. Colourful? Maybe? Bittersweet? Uh-huh. Surreal? Most definately.

Alright peeps, till next time. This is Nifty, signing out from this notebook!

Ciaosu!

p/s: picture or it didn't happen, amirite?
